Works with The Events Calendar free version and all premium add-ons including Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.

Reminder Types

24 Hours Before

"Reminder: {event_name} is tomorrow at {event_time}. Location: {event_venue}"

1 Hour Before

"Starting soon! {event_name} begins in 1 hour at {event_venue}."

RSVP Confirmation

"Thanks {attendee_name}! You're confirmed for {event_name} on {event_date}."

Event Changed

"Update: {event_name} has been rescheduled to {event_date} at {event_time}."

Settings

Configure reminders in Events → Settings → SMSTunnel:

Enable Reminders - Toggle automatic reminders
Reminder Times - When to send (24h, 2h, 1h, custom)
Message Templates - Customize each message type
Phone Field - Which field contains attendee phone
Event Types - Which categories get reminders

Installation

Ensure SMSTunnel core plugin is installed and configured
Ensure The Events Calendar is installed
Download this plugin ZIP file
Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
Upload and activate the plugin
Go to Events → Settings → SMSTunnel to configure

Requirements

WordPress 5.0 or higher
The Events Calendar 6.0 or higher
SMSTunnel core plugin (installed and connected)
WP Cron enabled (for scheduled reminders)
