Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your SMSTunnel account and all associated data using one of the methods below.
Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open the SMSTunnel app on your Android device
- Go to Settings tab
- Scroll down to "Danger Zone"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
This will immediately and permanently delete your account and all data.
Method 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to request account deletion:
Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 48 hours.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile (email, name)
- All registered devices
- SMS message history and logs
- API keys
- Usage statistics
- Subscription information
Data Retention
After account deletion:
- Immediate deletion: All personal data, devices, messages, and API keys
- 30 days retention: Anonymized usage logs for security purposes
- As required by law: Payment transaction records (required for tax/legal purposes)
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to export any data you need before proceeding.
